Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

A. Agreement: By inviting CITY to a Discord server, running its commands, or logging into the dashboard at bossx.ca, you agree to these terms.

B. Discord's Terms: You must also follow Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Breaking those may affect your ability to use CITY as well.

2. What CITY Is

A. Overview: CITY is a Discord bot providing a virtual economy, leveling, moderation tools, automation, and various utility and fun commands, along with a companion dashboard for configuring these features per server.

B. Availability: CITY is provided as-is. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time, and uptime is not guaranteed.

3. Eligibility

A. Age: You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (13 years old) to use CITY, consistent with Discord's own Terms of Service.

4. Acceptable Use

A. No Abuse: Do not exploit bugs, use automation or self-bots to interact with CITY, or attempt to manipulate the economy, leveling, or shop systems outside their intended use.

B. No Harassment: Do not use CITY's commands to harass, threaten, or target other users.

C. Server Admin Responsibility: If you configure CITY's moderation or automation tools for your server (automod, auto roles, welcome messages, and similar), you are responsible for how those settings are used in your server.

5. Virtual Currency and Purchases

A. No Real-World Value: Bucks, Gold, and any other in-bot currency or item are virtual, have no cash value, are not your property, and cannot be sold, traded for real money, transferred between accounts, or redeemed for anything outside CITY.

B. What You Are Buying: A real-money purchase in the Shop is a licence to use an amount of virtual currency or a feature inside CITY. It is not a purchase of goods or of anything with lasting value.

C. Delivery: Purchases are delivered to the Discord account you are signed in with at checkout. You are responsible for making sure that is the correct account. Delivery normally happens within seconds of payment; if a purchase is paid but not delivered, contact us and we will credit it or refund it.

D. Payment Processing: Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details. By purchasing you also agree to Stripe's terms.

E. Purchases Are Final: Once virtual currency or a feature has been delivered, the purchase is final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law or granted by us at our discretion (for example, a failed delivery or a duplicate charge).

F. Subscriptions: Any subscription (such as an XP Boost or a Discovery Boost) renews automatically for the stated period and price until you cancel it. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.

G. Prices and Availability: Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and may change at any time. We may add, change, or discontinue any Shop item, and we may stop offering the Shop entirely.

H. Chargebacks: Opening a chargeback or payment dispute for a delivered purchase is a breach of these terms. It may result in the purchased balance being removed and the account being suspended.

I. Taxes: Any applicable taxes are your responsibility unless we are legally required to collect them, in which case they are shown at checkout.

J. Eligibility to Purchase: You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to make a purchase, and you must be authorised to use the payment method.

K. No Guarantee of Balance: Virtual balances and inventory can be reset or adjusted as a result of a rules violation, such as an exploit or a manipulated economy system. Being suspended (blacklisted) does not, by itself, delete or reset your data. It only stops you from running commands or using the dashboard.

6. Activity Logging and Enforcement

A. Logging: Command usage and related activity on CITY and the dashboard are logged for moderation, debugging, and abuse prevention.

B. Suspension: Violating these terms may result in your account being suspended from using CITY and its dashboard, including in every server the bot is in. A suspended account can no longer run commands or access the dashboard.

C. Appeals: If you believe you were suspended in error, you may submit an appeal through the Appeal Ban page.

7. Termination

A. By You: You may stop using CITY at any time by removing it from your server, and you may request deletion of your data through the Account Deletion page.

B. By Us: We may suspend or remove access to CITY for any account or server that violates these terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

A. Updates: We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CITY after a change means you accept the update.
