Moderation
Bans, timeouts, warnings, lockouts, message cleanup and automatic word filtering. All free.
The basics
- Member moderation lives under
/mod. Each command needs you to have the matching Discord permission, and CITY needs it too. - Everything can also be set up from the dashboard at bossx.ca: open your server and go to the Moderation tab.
- If you set a log channel, CITY records what happens. See the Logging page.
Member commands

Warnings
Warn members, and let CITY punish them automatically once they've collected enough warnings.

The punishment can be a Timeout, Kick, Ban, Temp-Ban or Lockout. A timeout can last up to 28 days and a temp-ban up to 14 days. A ban or temp-ban can also delete some of the member's recent messages (from the previous hour up to the previous 7 days). When a member's warnings reach the amount you set, the punishment happens and their count goes back to 0. If you never change it, the punishment is a Lockout.
Lockouts
A lockout hides every channel from a member without removing them from the server. CITY does this with a special role. Leave the lockout role set to None in the dashboard and CITY creates and manages it for you, or pick a role of your own.
Blacklisted words (auto-mod)
CITY can watch your chat for words you don't want and punish anyone who says them. It's switched off until you turn it on in the dashboard's Moderation tab.
- You can make up to 5 blocks. Each block has its own list of words (separated by commas) and its own punishment.
- A punishment can be a timeout, kick, ban, temp-ban or lockout. Timeouts, temp-bans and lockouts can have a length. A timeout can be up to 28 days, a temp-ban up to 14 days, and a lockout has no limit.
- A block with no words in it does nothing, even when auto-mod is on.
- With a log channel set, every catch is logged as Blacklisted Word Detected.
